Mich reizt das auch nicht so. Hab auch immer eher den Eindruck das viele dahin wollen wegen Wochen lang verballert sein und Mädels in die Fickzelte mitnehmen.

ich versteh auch gar nicht was leute so an kazantip reizt- also wenn ich so über das lineup fliege find ich das musikalisch jetzt nicht sooo außergewöhnlich, im fernsehen kommts auch immer eher wie ballerman rüber und überhaupt soll es ja auch beim orginal nicht gerade seriös zugehen!

ich würde auch niemals so einen weg nur für eine technoveranstaltung in kauf nehmen- das kann ich auch einfacher u billiger haben! klar zb menogros würde mich auch reizen, aber dann würde ich das min mit 1-2tagen barcelona verbinden!

ich weiss auch nicht, was es da so dolles geben soll, v.a. bei dem Preis

in fb haben leute schon im vorfeld gesagt das es ne fake veranstaltung ist.

kaZantip Festival what's happen

Alqueva, 28th July – the kaZantip festival did open its doors on Friday the 20th of July 2012.,

on Saturday the 21st of July 2012 at ~ 11am ASAE (asae.pt economic police) appeared on the festival ground with approx. 40 persons for an inspection.

after 4 hours of inspection the management of the Z Productions Lda. in Lisboa, the organizer of the festival, had to sign a Notification with all the points ASAE found.

those are:

1. missing complain book at the entrance
2. missing certificate for the water in the showers and toilet containers
3 wrong license for selling food on a festival

the first 2 point are minor and cause a small penalty fee.

the consequences of the point 3 have been tremendous as in fact the festival had no permission to sell food to anybody. without selling food the Z Productions Lda. could not fulfill all the services promoted and therefore has not been allowed to sell tickets.

the president of the Camera of Moura (which gave the wrong license for selling food) did sign a paper on Saturday the 21st that the Camera of Moura will provide the right license by Monday the 23rd.

however this didn’t help – ASAE kept strict.

there have been backup plans for many installations as for electricity, for water, for waste management etc. but there was no backup plan for not being able to sell food, to feed people. this was completely out of the imagination from the management as in their opinion all licensens have been correct, double checked by external license specialists.

people got hungry and angry at place. the management tried to solve that problem by allowing people bring food to the festival ground. however it was difficult for our guests to organize food outside the festival ground as many guests came with public shuttle buses and Moura or Alqueva, where the closest food shops are located, are several kilometers away. the management gave away foods and fruits for free as long as they could.

people who could organize themselves brought besides food also their own drinks and alcohol. the management had to tolerate it to keep the crowd calm.

the situation regarding food escalated on Monday as over the weekend more and more people joined, knowing that the entrance is for free. it started getting out of control and the management of the Z Productions Lda. decided by Monday the 23rd. at midday for security reasons to shut down the festival.

the kaZantip Festival was a great project wasted by a simple mistake. it’s a pity and a huge disadvantage for everybody. for the guests, the employees, for the region and for the investors.



the kaZantip GmbH located in Baar, Switzerland, did sell tickets and accommodations like Ticketmaster in Germany or Ticketline in Portugal. at the moment the kaZantip GmbH is in contact with the Z Productions Lda. working on a plan how to reimburse the sold tickets and accommodations.
