Purmerend/Rotterdam, 23 January - The legendary hardcore concept Nightmare will strike back on the 16th of may 2009 with a new outdoor edition. This time even better and harder than before!
The Nightmare concept was taken into the open air for the first time in may 2005. The beach of Hoek van Holland was the place where hardcore history was written with not only the very first but also the very best outdoor hardcore festival ever. “A Nightmare Outdoor” immediately made an impressive impact throughout the entire scene! Seeing the sun rise over the ocean while dancing to the roughest hardcore beats during the final moments of the event was a moment that will never be forgotten by those who witnessed it.
After two equally successful editions in Mijnsheerenland in the following years, the organization was unfortunately faced with excessive restrictions by local authorities while trying to realize the 2008 edition of “A Nightmare Outdoor”. Refusing to give in to their own quality standards, the decision was made to send Freddy on a summer sabbatical and start the search for a new location where an event worthy of the name “A Nightmare Outdoor” could take place. And so they did…
On Saturday the 16th of May the recreational area Lutteberger near theme park Hellendoorn will be transformed into a nightmare by day! And the location is not the only thing that is changed, for the first time “A Nightmare Outdoor” will take place during the day. The volume sliders will be fully opened at 12.00 AM and will not close until 11 hours later when the clock strikes at 23.00 PM. Over 20.000 hardcore heads will experience the ultimate outdoor hardcore party in the surroundings of the dark forest of Hellendoorn. Because of the remote location, the organization will not be bothered by any sound limits! Six dazzling areas with various hardcore styles will all be filled with a top class line-up. Naturally the organization will provide great decoration and special Freddy shows, to secure the nightmare vibe. And of course the end of the event will also be a memorable one once again…

Tickets will be available on Thursday 29 January at www.nightmare-outdoor.com, www.udc.nl and www.mid-town.nl for 42,50 euro ex. Fee. Presale is also available at all Mid-Town shops, Primera and all other bigger Free Record Shops and post offices in Holland.
