Matthieu discovered Hardcore like a musical revelation, at the time of its first turnips in May 1992. To appease its passion for this style of extreme electronic music, it decides to found with a collective of friends in 1993 Sound-System Hardcore “Psychiatrik”, which will organize many evenings until 1996, surveying all the French frees-parts, technivals and others be delirious of “tribes”… This impassioned artist thus begins his activity from Dj under the name of Dj Tieum. After being itself launched in the car-production by creating the labels “Psychiatrik records” and “Gobble records”, Tieum joined Audiogenic in 2004 to create its new label “Altern-hate”, which quickly becomes a reference and acquires an international recognition. These many compositions were these last years a success growing as well in France as in Europe. They are produced by many international labels like HSC/D-BOY (It), Industrial Strengh Europe (It), Social Parasite (the U.K.), Resident E (All), Masters off Hardcore (Holl)… and make it recognize of international the Hardcore public. It leaves 2 albums at Audiogenic “I' ve got nothing to roofing stone” in 2004, and “Shake Dat Ass” in 2005, but also 2 cds of mix “This One Is For You” in 2001, and “One Hardware” in 2002… With more than 60 maxis to its credit, Tieum is regarded today as a major artist of French the Hardcore landscape. This so particular recognition thus leads it to play in great events as well in France as abroad. Tieum is an artist without concessions, whose musical objective is to make the balance between an extreme hardcore, dancefloor and industrialist. This fusion forms a clashing mixture, which charmed of them more one… and a style well with him confers to him…
MIC-E (Slovenia)
Mic-E's first incounter with turntables was at the age of 13. In 1997 he started to play dance music on a regular basis in a local pub in Postojna, his home town. Throug his days and nights behind the turntables, he got inlove with the harder side of dance music, at that time called progressiva. Mostly consisted with italian productions and german hard trance, in the year 2000 he stopped playing dance music, and focused on the hard side of club music. He founded Analogica Productions with the help of his friend DJ Etnic. They started producing parties in a club in Postojna called E.K.. Preforming on a regular basis at his parties, made him interesting for other events through Slovenia. Since than he played in almost every important club in Slovenia, and in countries as UK, Croatia, Austria....
LEXIS (Slovenia)
A young enthusiast from Slovenia started his journey when he first came in touch with electronic music at the break of the millennium. At the beginning of his DJ career things went slowly for Lexis until he started with his own music production. This experience brought new sense and vision into his evolution as an artist. After his first tries he came in touch with another Slovenian artist Daniel Gloomy, who has given Lexis a chance to present his music on labels such as Cardiac Arrest Recs. and Beast Music. Soon after his debut on Daniel’s labels releases followed on various techno labels. Many top selling EPs propelled Lexis’ DJ career as well, bookings all over Europe and also South America followed soon after. Lexis teamed up with Daniel Gloomy once again to co-run the label Cardiac Arrest Recs. in 2007. His unique style of combining hard and dark sound with groovy and funky elements have made him one of the top hard techno artists at the moment.
FLIS (Slovenia)
Everything started with his first visit on a techno party in Slovenia in 1994. Since 1997 he has been working as a DJ and improving his personal style to make sure that your body will work out during his set! Always searching for the "perfect-sound" he never stopped playing at parties and travelling. His travels led him play gigs in Austria, Croatia, Italy, Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland and of course in Slovenia.
Characteristics for his sets are raised arms and screaming people that are guided by powerful kicks and pumping bass lines from one uplifting break to another. All the power in his sets are combined with crazy driving and funky sounds which make sure that the spirit never falls. Playing at parties is not enough for a creative musician, therefore Borut Flis started with his own productions. When you know DJ Flis, you know what you can expect from those tracks - natural hard and driving techno. Flis is one of the rising stars in the Slovenia techno scene today and definitely an artist to keep an eye out for as you will be sure to see much more of him in the coming years.
Up to now his career enabled him to play with famous Djs and producers such as DJ Rush, Marco Bailey, Speedy J, Glenn Wilson, Jörg Henze, Luke Slater, Misjah, Filterheadz, Lars Klein, Toni Rios, Thomas Krome, DJ Boss, Leo Laker, Valentino Kanzyani, Robert Q.Ingram, Blake Baxter, Ben Long, Mario Ranieri, Oscar Mulero, John Selway, Paco Osuna, Miss Yetti, Toby Izui, Ade Fenton, Jay Denham, Dylan Drazen, Mark Antonio, Inigo Kennedy, Sven Wittekind, Frank Kvitta, Trevor Rockliffe, Steve Rachmad, Petar Dundov, Paul Langley, Ladida, Steve D.T.P.Heckmann...
