Features:

The Fuzz+ plug-in is a model of a famous vintage fuzz pedal, and features an algorithm used in several of the Mayhem plug-ins. There are three controls:

- Fuzz knob: This controls exactly how much fuzz is applied to the signal.
- Output knob: This is the output volume of the device, when it is active.
- Bypass button: This works just like the switch on a stomp box. When the blue light is lit, you're money. When it's not, the input is passed directly to the output. This can be automated for a slightly different vibe than automating the effect bypass of your host.

RubyTube is a real time, digital tube amp simulator. RubyTube simulates the saturation effect that can be found in audio equipment with vacuum tubes. This effect is usually hardly noticable but it is responsible for the classic tube sound. Sometimes its just a sparkle on the voice and a slight compression of drums and bass that makes the difference between a neutral recording and a warm and full sounding song.

Simulating tube sound with non-tube equipment is difficult but it is possible. RubyTube is not the first such simulator but compared to other tube simulators and distortion units, RubyTube has a very high resolution and a well-balanced spectrum of harmonic distortion.

Features:

cairo is a stereo vst effect that processes incoming audio and gates the audio in sync with your tempo. it also adds some distorion and a filter to the mix. this one is very low cpu usage, and can create some very nice rhytmic effects.

Features:
This ain't your pawnshop TS-9. TORTURE CHAMBER is the meanest, ugliest, most extreme distortion effect ever to hit the VST world. Its sound is reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix's Octavia, or rather five Octavias lined up together. Coaxing conventional rock and metal distortion out of it is possible, but its strength lies in its electrical shock sound that no other distortion effect can duplicate.
Imagine your guitar as a human body, and TORTURE CHAMBER as a medieval mutilation device. Start out by choosing one of eight possible weapon types, then decide how much pain you want to inflict upon your instrument. SAW digs into the guts of the signal, SHOCK warps your guitar into submission, and INPUT controls the amount of drive. If the effect sounds fried, turn the input level down. Turning the screws on the four corners modifies the circuitboard to control the effect's severity.

Since TORTURE CHAMBER is modeled after real guitar overdrives and distortions, it works best before amp simulators, such as IK Amplitube and Steinberg WarpVST.

Features:

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Basically, a sine wave is used to modulate the speed at which the input signal is played back at (i.e. stretching and squashing the audio). To do this, a buffer is employed, which also allows the input audio to be output in reverse, hence the direction button which can be seen above. This is another plugin which probably doesn't have too many practical uses, but I quite like the sounds it makes. Most of this plugin's functionality can now be found in The Modulator 2 (along with a tempo-sync-able oscillator). (C++)

A simplistic distortion plugin, with two modes. The first mode is a modified threshold-type distortion (although the modification isn't particularly noticeable, sound-wise). What Is It?
Glitch is a highly-adjustable, semi-automated, realtime audio manipulation system which allows you to alter your music in a variety of different ways ranging from quite subtle to extremely bizarre. At its heart is a sequencer which sychronises to the host tempo and slices the incoming audio into user-defined patterns, applying a random selection of DSP effects to each slice.

2.1. System.

* Windows.
* A VST 2.0 compliant host.
* Memory usage depends on samplerate. Roughly 32MB @ 44.1Khz/48Khz, 64MB @ 96Khz.
* CPU usage is relatively modest. (16 instances on a 1GHz Pentium M laptop with 1GB RAM)
