it should work with MIDI! just connect the 2 PCs with each other, then set one computer as the slave and one as the master!

you can't sync two fruityloops. fruityloops can NOT be set up as midi sync slave, only as master.
to connect some midi device to your PC you need a midi cable which will be connected to the joystick port of your soundcard. the joystick port then will be used for transmitting midi signals through this adapter cable to another midi device.
if you want to connect two PCs together you'll need a special adapter to connect the two cables coming from the PCs because as standard, the plugs at the end of these midi cables are 'male' plugs and you can't conect two 'male' plugs together (well, not in the midi-world...
)
