Dominica ist ein Inselstaat in der Karibik mit Bergen, natürlichen Thermalquellen und tropischen Regenwäldern. Im Nationalpark Morne Trois Pitons liegt der vulkanisch beheizte kochende See, von dessen Oberfläche Dampf aufsteigt. Daneben beherbergt der Park auch Schwefelquellen, die 65 m hohen Trafalgar Falls und die schmale Titou-Schlucht. Weiter westlich befindet sich die Hauptstadt Roseau mit bunten Holzhäusern und einem Botanischen Garten
