Billund ist eine Stadt in der Mitte Dänemarks und gilt als der Geburtsort der Lego-Steine, die auch im Freizeitpark Legoland Billund zu bewundern sind. Nicht weit davon befindet sich der Wasserpark Lalandia Billund mit seiner tropischen Badewelt. Ein Spazierweg am Bach Grindsted führt an den Skulpturen des Skulpturenparks Billund vorbei. Der nordwestlich der Stadt gelegene Museumshof Karensminde verschafft Besuchern einen Einblick in das Landleben im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert. Im Nordosten befindet sich der Zoo Givskud mit Löwen und Gorillas.
